DANGERS OF LOOKING BACK IN YOUR CHRISTAIN RACE---LUKE 9:62 .

 

A RACE is a PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT toward a GOAL. God has called everybody (humans) on this planet 'Earth' to participate in a RACE (1Cor.9:24 ), some have started, while some are yet to start. For you that have started, i CONGRATULATE you. For you that are yet to start, I'm imploring you in the name of Jesus Christ to take a step of FAITH and start your RACE, because PROCRASTINATION is DANGEROUS. Having known that many are DYING DAY BY DAY and without PARTAKING in this RACE, there is no how one can REIGN WITH GOD AFTER DEATH.
             Starting a RACE is good but ''LOOKING BACK IN A RACE IS LIKE WRITING LETTER OF INVITATION TO ONE'S DEATH''. The RACE that I'm talking about is the WILL OF GOD (John 14:15 ), and the will of God is to BELIEVE in what God has done for us through CHRIST JESUS, that HE SUFFERED, DIED AND RESURRECTED, with our HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE ( John 3:16). *   It's pathetic that the majority of the people in the RACE today are LOOKING BACK ( backsliding ) without MEDITATING the book of ( 2Cor.5:17 ) which says "If ANY MAN be in CHRIST, he is a NEW CREATURE, OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY,  BEHOLD ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW.                        *  The RACE that I'm talking about is to WALK IN THE NEWNESS OF LIFE ( Rom.6:4) and FORGET THE FORMER AND THE THINGS OF OLD ( Isaiah 43:18 -19).

*    When we are LOOKING FORWARD (FOCUSED) in a RACE, it means we are looking at the NEWNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS and HIS QUALITIES (ATTRIBUTES) such as the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT (Gal.5:22-24) and the GIFT OF THE SPIRIT (1Cor.12:7-10) that will enable us to REACH OUR GOAL (The kingdom of heaven).                                    *   Nevertheless, while LOOKING BACK ( backsliding) in the RACE, it means you are going back to your old life of the DEVIL which is characterized by the works of the flesh (Gal.5:19-21) and the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life (1John 2:16).       *   Finally, I'm PERSUADING everyone who is YET TO START HIS RACE IN THE NEWNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS TO START NOW BY BELIEVING THAT GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON(JESUS CHRIST)  INTO THE WORLD  TO SUFFERED, DIED AND ROSE UP BECAUSE OF YOUR SINS AND YOU WILL BE SAVED (Rom.10:9).

Believe now, This may be your LAST GRACE, don't miss this LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY.                       *   In conclusion, if you know that you are LOOKING BACKWARD (backsliding) in this RACE, try to STAY FOCUSED and be looking unto JESUS CHRIST WHO IS THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH (Heb.12:2), and try all your possible best not to look back again because, the BACK IS FULL OF: DARKNESS, COMMOTION, WAR, TRAPS, THORNS, EVIL WEAPONS AND FIRE.

            PRAYER POINTS            
   1. My Father! My Father!! My Father!!! Any power, any personality that want to change me from GRACE TO GRASS, from OPPORTUNITY TO FAILURE, from HONOUR TO REPROACH, die by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.    
 2. Oh Lord my Father! Take me out of the CAMP (cage) of my enemies (Satan) into your presence by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.         
   3. Oh Lord my Saviour! Help me to hold on to you forever as the Author and the Finisher of my Faith, in the name of Jesus Christ.
