You are a Christian because Christ lives in you, and Christ lives in you because you are save “Born Again“.
This happened because Someone preached the Gospel to you, perhaps a Pastor in a church meeting and by the conviction of the Holy Spirit, you gave your life to God and since then, you have been considered Saved.
To God be all the Glory, now the journey does not end there, as a matter of fact, Christianity is a journey of “Walking”.
That is why Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh to the father, except by me – John 14:6 .
As much as Heaven is excited and rejoices over your own Salvation, you are not to be without fruit, and your fruit as a Christian, is to save another lost soul into the kingdom of God.
Before we go further, I want you to read an article, i wrote longtime ago on this Blog, on why Believers need the HolySpirit, for a successful Christian Journey on the earth.
So now, that you are saved, you have been called by the master “JESUS” to go and win even more souls unto God and get them established in the Faith.
So How do we get Souls saved?
That is accomplished by Evangelism, going on to witness and evangelize to the dying souls, rescue them from the kingdom of hell into the Kingdom of God, and having them establish in the church, so that they can continue to grow in the Faith.
Some Christians use to think, that Salvation of souls and evangelism is limited to Pastors, or church folks, but its for very one who is born again, you must bring somebody to the JESUS that as changed and transform your life, so that they can also encounter this beautiful saving saviour and be transformed too.
JESUS said; ” And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature ( Mark 16:15 ).
So we found out that Jesus command us to do so, on the other side, some people can not preach the gospel and serve the interest of God’s kingdom, because they believe they are too busy and all of that, however, we found out that in Matthew 6 : 33 Jesus said, ” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you“.
So there is no excuse you have to give God; for not going out to preach the Gospel of Jesus. In my years of experience, going on Outreach and preaching the Gospel to many, I have come to learn that, there is a lot that we are doing, many lives are been rescued, by the help of the Holy Spirit, we meet some ready soul, those that the spirit of God as been convicting and when we come their way, they just get saved and planted in the faith, thereby been established in the faith.
Also, we have met some, that are at the point of giving up on Life and committing suicide, and after the salvation experience, they change their mind and choose to live, follow and serve the true and living God.
The only way, the word of Prophecy at Matthew 6:10 can be fulfilled, is by evangelism, we are imposing his kingdom and his will to be done on the earth, our world can never and will never become a better place until, God’s kingdom come and his will be done, so it is the responsibility of the saints to ensure this happens!
So Why is Evangelism so Important for every Believers? Christians, followers of Jesus?
I have some few points and i will list them below;

So Why is Evangelism so Important for every Believers? Christians, followers of Jesus?
I have some few points and i will list them below;
1. Jesus Commands it : He said And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature ( Mark 16:15 ).
- This is the Will of God : The Bible says; ”
- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” ( John 15:12-14 ).
3. It is the way to rescue our dying World : I say this with all confidence, the world is dying, darkness is fast covering the earth, and the saints of God must not keep their mouth shut, it can be very dangerous, the devil is fast taking people away from God to hell, we must run to rescue the dying world and the only way to do this is by extending to them the Gospel of Christ (Goodnews) which is the love of the father and the Power of God, that is more than sufficient to change the world and make it a better place. The BIBLE says;
” 1 For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.” 2“But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.3“You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts ” ( Malachi 4: 1 – 2 ).
4. It is the way to bringing many to the knowledge of God : I ca say, this generation is bankrupt of the knowledge of God, and thereby, they perish, they don’ t know the ways of God, which Moses knew, and any generation that lacks the knowledge of God will suffer in the hand of the enemy, the devil will torment them so bad, The Bible says; ” For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea ( Habakkuk 2:14 ) “.
5. It is the access way to the Power of God : There is Power, real raw Power in the Gospel, that is why the Gospel is accompanied with Signs and Wonders, and it’s this power of God that came upon men to liberate and transform their world, great men like T.L Osborn, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Reinhard Bonnke, Benny Hinn,Apostle johnson suleman and lots more, God is still more than ready to pour out his power upon men, even the more to the end that, they can use it as a tool to preach the gospel and save souls of men from destruction, The Bible says “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. ( Romans 1:16 ) “.
6. It grants the Holy Ghost to move and breath upon our World :

8. It Unites the Nation of our World and reconcile Humanity to God through Jesus Christ :

10. It Fulfill the God’s appointed plans and destinies for the people :
There are just too many reasons why we really need to go out there and tell somebody about Jesus, who is he and what he can do for people, when we do this, God is glorified and our world is transformed, remember what God do for one, he can do for all, may God grant us the Grace to witness and stand for him always in Jesus mighty name!
