See what Archbishop Idahosa says about Bishop Oyedepo in 1987

When it doesn’t conform to the parameters they thought were the requirements for fruitfulness and influence they speak against it.

God doesn’t need any man’s permission to promote those He has chosen. It’s called election by grace. Even Jesus’s rise was attributed by the Pharisees to the prince of devils.
When growing up I watched many I thought will lead fall by the way side.

I learnt by observing the generation ahead of me that those who cloaked themselves outwardly with the robes of knowledge didn’t go too far but those who were cloaked with robes of humility rose. When you met them it wasn’t what they knew that struck you but their simplicity and wisdom.

I realized one set ate from the tree of knowledge the other from the tree of life. Wisdom is always justified by her children.
Authority in the kingdom is never transferred on the platter of knowledge but humility. Influence is given to those whom God knows have the welfare of others at heart.

 

In 1987, when no one had anything,

I heard the Arch Bishop Idahosa say this of Bishop Oyedepo;

 “Many came to show me what they knew, others came to see what they could get from me but Oyedepo came to serve, watch it, he will be the greatest of them all”.

Today are those words spoken 30 years ago real before our eyes?
Here are a few lessons I have learnt,

if you refuse to speak evil of a person privately or publicly the state of your life will dramatically improve.
It is by making praise your culture, things that cannot be explained emerge in your life. Did Jesus not say the earth by itself yields the increase and he knoweth not how.

However for your praise to be effective the organ through which your adoration is carried to God, your tongue, must be free of back biting and slander Give honor to whom honor is due and God will honor you.
