Scriptural Read: Roman 5:1-21

TOPIC:- THE FIGHT OF FAITH

TEXT: " And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: Romans 4:19

The Bible says Abraham staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief but was strong in faith. He believed he was the father of many nations according to the of God (Romans 4:18). This is what is called the fight of faith.

Child of God, the fight of faith is the only fight God has called us to fight (1 Timothy 6:18) and it is a good fight because you were declared winner before the began.

When you discover what God's word says concerning you, you lay hold of it against all odds. For example, having discovered from the word that financial prosperity belongs to you, you begin to declare " I'm rich, my God supplies my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus ".(Philippians 4:19). If suddenly the devil reminds you of all your unpaid bills but instead of becoming forlon and depressed, you maintain your declaration, " The Lord is my Shepherd therefore I do not lack money! I believe in hope that my needs are met and my bills are paid in the mighty name of Jesus ". That is the faith.

The fight of faith is refusing to go down under the pressure of sickness when it tried to fasten itself to your body. The fight of faith  is when you refuse to submit yourself to sickness,disease, sin death and everything else that is caused by the devil .

PRAYER
O Lord my maker, as I pray, may I only fight the good fight of faith.
