Matt. 5:39.
Any challenge which frightens you can equally defeat you, but the challenge you minimize, loses its strength. Many years now, philosophers and individuals have deduced matt. 5:39 as weakness instead of wisdom. Matt.5:39 communicates a sense needed for conflict time. This sense is summarized in the statement "minimize your components, obstacles, challenges and attacks.
For one to his cheek to be smitten the second time implies he or she is playing down his challenges. Every time an individual over estimates challenges, the challenges becomes bigger, taller and tougher. Each time an individual minimizes his components or challenges, it demoralises his components and challenges. The challenges of life draw their strength from our attitudes towards them. Any challenge that frightens you can equally defeat you, but the challenge you minimize loses it strength.
David in Biblical history illustrated this truth in his approach to Goliath who was a trained warrior from childhood carrying all vital military apparels on him with five stones. Goliath asked David whether he is coming to fight a dog. This is because David saw Goliath as a dog not as giant. Brethren, don't overestimate the strength of your challenges and this will destroy the power of that circumstance.
