TOPIC:- THE MERCY OF GOD

TEXT:" If thou, LORD, shouldest  mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? " psalm 130:3.
Going by God's standard as recorded in Hebrews 1:13, it will be evident and quite obvious that no living soul can stand before God. But by the interception of the sure mercies of David which God has through his beloved son (Jesus) extended to all humanity, we can now stand before God without blemish. This reveals the potency and the efficacy of the mercy of God in the life of any individual that will beckon on the mercy dimension of God to come and supplement for his/her inadequacies. Without the mercy, you are sure to perish. The standard of God are so high and He will not bend it because of anybody, else, He will no longer be just God.

Scripture reveals that it's on account of His mercy that the inhabitant of the earth are not consumed. Therefore, to undermine the need of God's mercy is to sign your own death warrant. I like to submit to you that only God's mercy can get you going in life. Your works cannot help you; your discipline Cannot save you because they are all classified as filthy rags before the Lord. I therefore urge you to begin as from today to pray for God's mercy upon your life, children, family, church, city, country etc. As you do that, God will see you through.

O God my father, as I pray now, clothe me with your mercy each day.
