TODAY'S READING - John 8:1-20
TOPIC: DIVINE ROLE MODEL
TEXT: "In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity," Titus 2:7
Every believer is a leader in his/her own capacity. No matter your placement in life, I want you to understand that there are people who are looking up to you, your size or status notwithstanding. Even beggars have leaders. So, don't live your life anyhow with the mind by that you don't command any influence. Scripture says, "you are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). In other words, you are the role model to those around you in that your locality.
Being a light and a role model that you are, scriptural truths cannot be broken (John 10:35). Which is why it is expedient that you understand that the best and highest form of leadership is leadership by example. In other words, you are expected to lead an exemplary lifestyle. Don't be the the kind of leader that encourages the followers to follow his sayings but not his acts. It is the plan and desire of the Father that every believer becomes a living epistle (2 Corinthian 3:2). What that suggests is that, by mere looking at your lifestyle as a believer, the world should have an understanding of what God through His word is communicating to them.
I see you manifesting as light indeed.
I see you manifesting as light indeed.
PRAYER
My Father, My Father, make me a divine role model...
My Father, My Father, make me a divine role model...
