TOPIC:- CONFIGURED FOR GOOD WORKS
TEXT:" who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."Titus 2:14. 
This morning is another great opportunity to look into God's word; and I will like to draw your attention to the fact that you were redeemed from iniquity and purified unto righteousness for the sake of manufacturing every sort of good works. Jesus' earthly ministry is an adumbration of what the
. Jesus' earthly ministry is an adumbration of what the believers life should be. Scripture says, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him" (Act 10:38). All the activities of Jesus while He was on earth can be summarized into two words "GOOD WORKS". And according to our opening text, Jesus offered up himself to redeem, purify and make out of you an individual that is zealous for good works. You are created in Christ Jesus for good works (Eph.2:20). Are you doing good works? Sit back and do an appraisal of your life to see if your findings are in line with the reason for your recreation in Christ Jesus. If it is, you can subject yourself to divine pruning to enable you bear more fruit. But if it is not, cry earnestly for the help of the Holy Ghost. I see a new beginning of impact in your life.

my father, my God, as I begin to pray, may I fulfill the very reason for my recreation by fire.
