Scriptural Reading: Roman 4:1-12
TOPIC:- DON'T NEGLECT YOUR SOURCE.
TEXT: " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto unto you. " Matthew 6:33.
God always let His people know that they should live in abundance and not in lack. However, the Lord Jesus made it plain in His teachings that we are to seek the kingdom of God and not seek material possessions. Wealth and riches cannot make you happy, so don't be deceived. There are many wealthy people who are miserable. The Lord Jesus said, ".... a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth." (Luke 12:15) and how true the statement is! Don't crave for material possessions, rather, seek God passionately.
When your focus is on God, all other things will fall into place. He has said all things are yours for you are Abraham seed 1Corinthians 3:22. Remember a branch can only bear fruit it it remains in the vine. Likewise if you want if you want to live a productive life, you must never neglect your "source". God is your source, for he is the one who brings all these blessings into your life according to his fantastic promises in Deuteronomy 28:2 " And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." that means all the wealth of this world belongs to Him. I pray for you that God's blessings shall come upon you this season in Jesus name.
PRAYER
My father, my maker, you are the source of wealth and riches, as I pray now, help me not to shift my focus from you.
