TEXT:" But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:8 Anything is achievable if there is a man to pay the price. many people are not conscious of their future.
Many people have refused to be responsible with their lives.they have not come to the consciousness that to attain greatness and a fulfilled life, there is a price to pay. No greatness is accident. Men to some reasonable extent may be of help but it is your resolve and determination that takes you all the way, with determination comes discipline. Not to live a disciplined life is to end up a nobody. Irrespective of how gifted you are, you must live a disciplined life for you to experience the greatness you have dreamt of. Daniel is an example of what determination can help you achieve. A determination to stick with your Christian faith and beliefs, a determination not to be a ridicule of what salvation represents, a determination to bring pride to the kingdom of God in the way you live is what will enable you to enjoy the kind of blessing that God clothed Daniel with.The man who stands for righteousness will always be noticed by men. The price for greatness is to stand for righteousness and for everything that will promote the kingdom agenda. Just as Daniel's stand did. Go and do likewise. PRAYER Father, baptise me afresh to stand for righteousness in all things in Jesus name.
